My Updates

Week 5 Activity - 10 hours 4 mins

Saturday 1st Aug
This week it cooled down, a little, so I took the bike into London. I have also managed a few zwift rides and an evening MTB ride with a good mate after work. My legs are toast now. Finished off with a litter pick with my girls last night just to ensure I broke my target. Time to sit this weekend and celebrate my parents golden anniversary.

Week 4 Activity - 19hrs 43 mins

Monday 27th Jul
I was on leave this week and this meant I could get in much more time as I wasnt at work!
I managed three good gravel rides including skirting around Sizewell and seeing much of the instruction being built there.
We also had a good explore of Southwold, Dunwich, Orford, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. Including my daugher finding a rare pink grasshopper at Dunwich heath, I got a photo, we showed it to the wardens who took a copy and ended up seeing it on National Trust socials.

Week 3 Activity - 12 hrs 48mins

Monday 27th Jul
I am back from leave, and catching up on my updates. Week three was another hot one in London and the west midlands so didnt get as much done as hoped.
High lights were some good walking around London including a good walk up to a lovely pub to in Hampstead for dinner with Samson and we stayed to watch the France v Spain.
I did fit in some zwift rides before heading off on leave Friday lunchtime. We had some good exploring of Norwich and got some good steps as a family pottering about.

Week 2 Activity - 12 hrs 44mins

Thursday 16th Jul
Week 2 started well but the heat prevented me getting out on the bike much at all. I managed one zwift session, again tough and one IRL ride on the Malverns on the gravel bike but had some issues with a ripped tyre. Otherwise walking as much as possible around home and London. Highlight was a trip to the Oval to watch some 20/20 with a good mate of mine.

Week 1 Activity - 10hrs 36mins

Thursday 16th Jul
As my strava doesnt seem to want to sync, (except for the first activity) I have decided to a weekly bulk update with strava data and some photo highlights from my activity.

Week 1 started with a very hard zwift workout and ended with a 3rd best PB for a 50km ride. I also cycled from a mates to the Mace Bristol office for a mid year review in person. Lovely day and way to get a couple of extra hours in. I also did a run with the wife!
