We are asking everyone to raise a minimum of £x for the Mace Foundation. There
will be prizes to be won for the top fundraisers, so get your friends and family to dig
deep. Find out how you compare to others on the leaderboards.

The Mace Foundation is a charity, so we would ask that anyone who is unsure about
raising the minimum target, considers this before signing up. All money raised will go
back to supporting local communities where Mace operates. Therefore, we would ask
that anyone who does not meet the minimum target covers this cost themselves.

Your fundraising page will be set up automatically when you register to take part in
the event. If you have already registered, you can access your page by entering the
log in details you supplied when you signed up.
You can share your page with friends and family to let them know you’re taking on
the challenge and to encourage them to donate.

Yes, follow the registration link and you will be asked if you would like to create a
team, alternatively you can join a team by searching for them as part of your
registration process. You can always create a team at a later date.

Gift Aid adds 25p to every £1 donated, at no extra cost to the donor. It’s a
Government scheme that enables charities to claim this ‘extra money’ from tax that
people have already paid.
To allow us to claim Gift Aid, the donor has to be a UK taxpayer and have paid
sufficient Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover the amount the Mace
Foundation will reclaim in the tax year.
If you are fundraising offline, please make sure you send your sponsorship form to us
so we can claim it.

No. If you’re based in the United Arab Emirates it is illegal to fundraise for a charity
without approval from the Islamic Affairs. Unfortunately, we have not been given
approval for employees based in UAE to fundraise for the Mace Foundation.
However, you can still take part in the Mace Games, just log your activity and share
your journey.
Please note we have approval to use this campaign page to make donations directly
to Dubai Cares.

Once you have registered under ‘My Fitness Activity’ you will be able to connect to
your preferred fitness app; fitbit, Strava or Garmin. This will automatically track your
miles. If you do not have a fitness app, don’t worry, you can manually add any activity
you have completed.
