This March, we are encouraging you to walk 10,000 steps per day (across 5 days) with your dog. If you don’t have one, why not sign up and walk with your friends or family instead? All funds raised will help the Mace Foundation support more of your chosen charities. Walking is one of the easiest forms of exercise, with the recommended guidance that you should be walking 10,000 steps per day. The best part is you can walk indoors or outdoors.

If you have limited space, your neighbourhood walkways can be your path. If the weather is bad outside, you can walk indoors and even use the stairs to push yourself. You can do it practically anywhere, you can make it as easy or as hard as you want, it’s also a good way to help clear your mind.

Upon registration, participants will receive a doggy bandana and for the top fundraiser per country, there will also be a special prize. We encourage all participants to share photos from their walks across the 5 days to help celebrate the different environments we live and work in.

About Our Charity

The Mace Foundation is a UK registered charity. Since 2013, the Mace Foundation and Mace people have donated over £7.7million to hundreds of charitable causes around the world.
The key theme for the Foundation is giving back to communities with a focus on the following areas:

  • Education and employment
  • Economic inequality
  • Health, wellbeing and environment
The Foundation is committed to making a positive difference in the communities where Mace operates through charitable activities which benefit the communities for the long term. The Foundation does this on three levels; strategic charity partnerships, match funding programme and more recently a grant giving programme.
